A bit about our city:  Westport is a coastal town located on Long Island Sound in Fairfield County, Connecticut, 47 miles north of New York City.  The population was estimated at 26,615 in 2005.  Westport is one of the most affluent communities in the United States and is home to significant cultural attractions.  While Westport still retains its cultural roots, the town is no longer an artist’s colony. Despite the small-town charm, Westport is a thriving business center and home to approximately 15 corporate headquarters and more than 660 retailers.
